In order to be accepted to the North American Studies Master's Program, applicants need to have completed a degree (such as Magister, Diplom, B.A., etc.) with above-average grades. The completed degree should be related to the Master's program in some way, preferably in that it ties in with History, Political Science, or American Studies. Furthermore, applicants need to demonstrate a very good knowledge of English.
The following documents are required for application:
- Application along with a statement of purpose in English
- Resume
- Abitur diploma (or equivalent) and B.A. diploma (or equivalent) – if the diploma cannot be produced at the time of application, please include an official transcript
